Abstract

Scabies is characterised by severe itching of typical distribution. The whole body is treated with benzyl-benzoate or monosulfiram emulsion. It is essential that the whole family of an infected person he treated. Health education and community involvement are important methods which can contribute to preventing scabies infection.
